Techni-Ice, More Than Just A Cold Compress Pack

Summer just ended and we how much fun it is lounging beside the beach, soaking in the sun for some good tan. And just like me, some who hit the beach had that little ‘boo-boo’ situation while relaxing, and I meant Sun Burns!
What I probably looked like when I got seriously sun burned a few years back
I experienced having a bad sun burn a few years back, I immediately got some cold drinks in can and just placed the cold can on my sun burned areas. Of course, it didn't relieved me that long as the summer heat took off the coldness of the can fast. I really wished I had known and have Techni-Ice that time, I'm sure that experience would be much better.

I imagined just putting some of those cooled bad boys on my sun burned skin just to relieve the pain. Also good during those really hot days when you just need something to cool you off, keeping perishable goods cool, Good for cooling drinks too! No hassle of Ice-Turned-To-Water situation here!
Techni-Ice is very convenient for different situations, but I really like like it in the summer time because it can really help people during those summer get-aways. Techni-Ice = Cool drinks + Cooled down people = Awesome Summer!

Here's what I'm planning to do with Techni-Ice next summer:

I love cooking, now I can prepare awesome dishes and place it in a container with heated up Techni-Ice. When we reach our destination, I can just unpack and serve hot meals! 
Serve Cold drinks even after hours of travelling under the summer sun with cooled Techni-Ice
And after a long day of enjoying soaking the summer sun, 
a nice cooled Techni-Ice is a great way to relieve some heat from the body.
Ofcourse it's not only in summer where you can utilize Techni-Ice to the fullest.
The Posibilities are endless with Techni-Ice around. :)

Techni-Ice appears as flat sheets with dehydrated Polymer inside, so it’s very easy to bring along almost anywhere you can think of. It is very trusted when it comes to cooling things; it actually stays frozen as long as dry ice. It lasts 4-7 times longer than wet ice! And Aside from cooling it, you can actually heat it to become a nice heat compress pack or even insulation for those foods you want to keep warm.

The best thing for me about Techni-Ice is that it replaces what ice can normally do minus the leaky and wet things normal ice packs do, it’s coldness also lasts longer than normal ice packs. Next summer, I know what I will ACTUALLY bring and pack first before my summer outfits;
it’s the Techni-Ice, because I know it’s more than just a compress pack!
I know I can actually enjoy summer and this view without any problems.

Manila Goes Gaga for The Born this Way Ball at the Mall of Asia Arena!

Manila was taken into a roller coaster ride this past few weeks all heading down to May 21 and 22 as the controversial show by music icon Lady Gaga headed towards Manila. The world tour titled 'Lady Gaga: The Born This Way Ball' became controversial even before it kicked off in Seoul as religious sectors accused the concert tour and Lady Gaga's way of singing & dressing up as Blasphemous and Demonic.

Fast forward to May 2012, Religious sectors as well as some government officials in Pasay City also joined to protest against the show, but May 21 arrived and Lady Gaga's show went on as scheduled at the new Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City amidst protests against her show.


More about the Mall of Asia Arena
         The Mall of Asia Arena is the newest addition to the master planned Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City, it features world class amenities that can compete with those in the United States. It has amenities such as 30 Private Corporate Suites for companies which can be leased and 11 Private Suites which can be leased on a per-event basis. The Mall of Asia Arena promises a no-nosebleed-seating-view even from the farthest area of the Arena, they also boast the all cushioned seats with cup holders in all area of the Arena. It also includes the a parking building with direct access to the Arena as well as office spaces in the upper floors of the building. The Mall of Asia Arena is set to officially launch on June 16, 2012.

Now back to the concert, as early as breaking dawn, fans lined up outside the Arena to be the first in line. Fans dressed up in their Gaga inspired outfits sprawled around the venue, and more came as the hour of the show came close. Luckily, our good friends from Smart Communications provided AlexBam2006in3D with patron tickets to witness the first night of the show. How cool is that!? :)

It was around 5:30pm when the doors of the venue opened, everyone is in double excitement to see Lady Gaga as well as to experience the new venue for the first time. We also lined up fast so we can get a good area for the show as we are on the patron area.

Right as we entered the patron area, I immediately took snapshots of the new venue as well as the stage which is that time covered in a shiny cloth making everyone anticipated the grand stage design of the show.
At exactly 8pm, the show started with DJ Zedd headlining the show by pumping up the atmosphere with rockin' beats, the venue became one giant party with 45 minutes of non-stop party beats by DJ Zedd.

After DJ Zedd's set, everyone went wild because Lady Gaga is about to start the Born this Way Ball Manila! Enough talk, Here are some of the photos of the show:







At one part of the show, Lady Gaga did a little speech about those opposing her to do the concert here and those who wishes Lady Gaga to change & omit some songs from the show such as Alejandro and Judas. After the speech, Lady Gaga sang Judas. below is the speech she made;
I am not an alien, I'm not a woman, I'm not a man, AND I AM NOT A CREATURE OF YOUR GOVERNMENT, Manila.
I am all your dreams and I'm all your potential.
Let me be all your insecurities and your fears.
I'm your future, everything that makes you sad and angry. I'm YOU, Little Monsters.
Tonight's not a statement. Tonight's us coming together because we believe we were all born this way. 
Some people say I stand for things that are bad. The truth is, I want the best for every single one of you. My lifestyle is like one who performance of liberation. For those who aren't free, take this opportunity to free yourself.

The show ended after 23 songs and with a loud applause from the crowd. The 2-night sold out concerts at the Mall of Asia Arena went smoothly proving that problems like what happened to Lady Gaga's show can be remedied fast.

Nokia Lumianation: Partying the Nokia Lumia Way!

Last May 18 at the Bonifacio High Street Central Amphitheater, an awesome party event happened as the Grand launch of the four Nokia devices under the Lumia line happened, the event dubbed "LUMIANATION: Club Experience in a New Light". And of course they did it the Nokia Lumia way!


The event was attended by personalities, media, bloggers and Nokia Lumia users all ready to party the night away. Free flowing food and drinks was served together with awesome music by DJ's in one giant Lumia-nized stage set-up which wowed the guests of the event. Actually, the whole event area is decked out in colorful Lumia colors and accents.


An awesome 3D Wall Mapping Projection showing how Nokia grew throughout the years served as the highlight of the event and the cue for the guests to start partying the night away to awesome beats! Features of the Nokia Lumia line was also projected in the wall projection. Here's the video I've found on Youtube by JamOnlineBlog;


Smart and Globe booths was also present in the event where they gave away some cool souvenirs for the attendees, another booth is the Smoked by Lumia Booth where attendees can challenge the Nokia Lumia for prizes. I heard only two beat the Lumia (and its because of human error and not the phone.) Here's my friend Maya who got her phone smoked by Lumia.

The Amazing Splash wall made other busy by popping those colorful paint balloon to put color and Lumia-nize the blank wall. (I'm enjoying using the word I created - Lumia-nized!)


Heavy rain actually poured earlier that night, but that made the event more special as everyone became more hyped to the wet & wild party! It actually made the event more fun for me! Here we are on our Nokia Lumia umbrellas.

Several Lumia's were also given away to lucky party people as well as those who's not in the venue,
they just twitted and trended #NokiaLumiaPH on twitter. Everyone happy! :)

Now about the four Nokia Lumia phones, the Nokia Lumia 900 will be released in June announced with the tag of P27,990 it comes with an awesome Nokia Purity Headset by Monster. The Lumia 610 is now available at Nokia Stores for only P10,980, it's the cheapest Lumia among the bunch. While the Lumia 800 on Globe on their Unli Surf Combo Plan 1799 available at Nokia Stores for P23,500, the last one is the Lumia 710 is on Unlimited Data Plan 1000 from Smart.
