The Filipino - Korean Cultural Festival is an annual event organized by the United Korean Community Association in the Philippines (UKCA) in partnership with other local groups in the Philippines such as Arirang Town Philippines. The event is annually flocked by Koreans and Filipino Korean culture enthusiasts who are ready to witness amazing performances on stage.

The 21st Filipino - Korean Cultural happened last October 27, 2012 at the Aliw Theater in the Cultural Center of the Philippines Complex, Pasay city, the event was attended by 2,000+ Filipino and Korean audiences who patiently waited since morning for the event.

14 competing groups and individuals all battled on the Aliw theater stage to bid for the title of this year's Filipino - Korean Cultural Exchange Competition Champion title. To add more excitement to the event, special performances from the Department of Tourism Philippines' SINDAW dance group, Franchesca Farr, and Down to Mars was rendered as Philippines' part of the event, while special guests Drumcats and Lee Jung was the special performers from Korea.

In the end, the all girl group Hybrid Crew grabbed the this year's title as the 21st Filipino - Korean Cultural Exchange Competition Grand Champion, they bagged home 50,000 pesos. One Filipino and one Korean won in the speech competition where they'll be having a 6 days & 5 nights stay in Korea!

A special raffle was also done where 300 audiences took home one big box of Korean noodles each! Ehem, I took home one box too! Omnomnom! :)

Let's look forward to a more bigger and brighter event next year at the
22nd Filipino - Korean Cultural Festival!
