SM Aura Premier, the newest addition to SM Supermall's list of shopping haven in the Metro. Situated inside Bonifacio Global City Taguig, Aura Premier is accessible via C5 and McKinley Parkway and  boasts a one of a kind design never before seen in any SM malls here and abroad. Last opening weekend, I decided to drop by with my family to check out SM Aura Premier first hand, let me take you a mini online tour on what to expect when you visit this wonderful mall.

Last year, Korean Superstar Lee Minho amazed his fans on his one-night-only Benchsetter Fun Meet organized by clothing brand /Bench, which also happens to be the brand he is currently promoting in the country. Smart-Araneta coliseum was filled with thousands of screaming fans eagerly waiting to see the Korean superstar in the flesh.

Fast forward to 2013, still with the charm he has, he is now embarking on a World tour for the first time and visiting several Asian countries along the way. Today it was revealed that the Philippines will be one of the stops of his concert tour.

Mezza Norte Makes the Big Move to Trinoma

After a few weeks of being missed, Quezon City's only night food market Mezza Norte returns at a new and more convenient venue -- Trinoma Mall. Mezza Norte, the lone night food  market in Quezon City has been satisfying the hungry foodies for quite some time already at UP-Ayala Technohub along Commonwealth Avenue but suddenly stopped a few months ago which left the hungry QC residents  asking -- Where is Mezza Norte going?


Last May 3rd, the question was finally answered when Mezza Norte emerged in their new and more accessible venue at the Trinoma Mall Mindanao open parking lot along North Avenue. Still with their unique food merchant choices, Mezza Norte returns to satisfy the hungry Quezon City crowd.

We've been seeing a lot of photo clues making its arounds on the internet these past few days which people left asking, who is this Hollywood A-lister who is coming to the SM Store Aura? Today, it was finally revealed that Sarah Jessica Parker is the one coming for The SM Store Aura Premier's opening this week!


There’s been a lot of buzz about the SM Aura Premier opening this May. And it has just been confirmed that international screen and stage actress – and style icon - Sarah Jessica Parker will be gracing the launching of the mall’s SM Store.

Global Seoul mate's 1st Mission: I Like! Seoul

As you all know, yours truly and www.alexbamin3D.com is part of Seoul City Government's program called 'Seoul Global Seoulmate'. If you don't have an idea what it is, it's technically a community of people who applied and chosen to be part of the group, people came from different parts of the globe to share & promote everything about Seoul City. You can click the Global Seoulmate Badge at the right part of my blog to access their website.

Part of our task as Global Seoul mates is to do the Missions Seoul City gives us, some of them involves writing articles while some are photo outputs just like the First mission of the year.


Below are some of the places I think is a must visit spot when you visit Seoul City, not only are they accessible via public transportation, these places are also filled with things to do for you to enjoy your trip in this wonderful city. Here are the place I LIKE! in Seoul.

I LIKE! DONGDAEMUN

Dongdaemun is Korea’s largest wholesale and retail shopping distric, it has roughly around 26 shopping malls and thousands of specialty shops. Shops are open until around 5am which defines the term 'Shop til you drop'. Aside from ready to wear products, Dongdaemun is also a mecca for aspiring fashion enthusiasts as it boasts a wide array of fabric stores and fashion inspirations. Aside from the shopping district, this also where the Dongdaemun gate is located, an ancient historical landmark in the middle of the busy district.

I LIKE! ITAEWON

Famous for trendy bars, restaurants, bars, and shops selling different interesting products, Itaewon was designated as Seoul's first Special Tourism District. This place is a place to go for foreigners who wants to feel the Seoul vibe through shopping, culture, and entertainment.

I LIKE! N SEOUL TOWER


Last on my list is wonderful tower in Seoul. Located on Mount Namsan, Namsan Seoul Tower or popularly known as N Seoul Tower provides a breathtaking panoramic of the whole Seoul Metropolis.  N Seoul Tower first opened in 1980 and since then became an icon of Seoul City. After the major remodeling and the new name (N Seoul Tower), it now has spaces for cultural activities and performances as well as snack bars and restaurants where tourists can enjoy after taking in the wonderful view of Seoul City.

Budget eye glasses at the Eye Lounge

I'm officially 'four-eyed' and I'm glad I found the perfect place to get my first pair of specs. It was just last month during a meeting in Makati when I experienced again the weird experience i'm having with my vision, it's where the people I am talking to looks like they're zooming in and out from my face -- I know, it's trippy and no I'm not drunk. After that day, I decided to finally have my eyes checked, I searched the internet for the nearest eye clinics in my area and found one Facebook page with a clinic located at the SM City North EDSA.


Located at the 3rd floor of SM City North EDSA's City Center (Main Mall) is where you'll find the Eye Lounge. Upon entering their store, we were immediately greeted by their friendly staff and since it was my first time to have my eyes checked again after a while, I asked some questions about the prices and was assisted immediately to a table.

I was later greeted by the beautiful Dr. Andrea who assisted me on my first pair of glasses, I was actually shocked to find out that I can't event see the biggest letter of the eye chart. (PS: I forgot to ask what the grades of my glasses are. haha! I'll just update this part once I get the info from the Eye Lounge.)

After the examination, they let me choose my frame and we went on our way and was advised to return after an hour. My new pair of glasses greeted me when I returned after an hour, it looks gorgeous and comes with a free hard case and cleaning cloths.


Aside from prescription glasses, the Eye Lounge also offers sun glasses, ready to wear graded glasses, as well as very nice frames for prescription glasses, they actually post their newest arrivals on their Facebook and Instagram account, go check it out.

I find their glasses very affordable, I got mine for just around P1500+ which is cheaper compared to other optical stores, it also depends on the frame you choose for your glasses. The nice Doctor also showed me how to properly wear, use, and clean my glasses to make it last long. I'm definitely coming back soon for my mom's eye check up!
