Hey guys, how are you all doing? First off, Happy New Year! It's been a while and I can't wait to share to you more awesome stuff I found here in the Metro. We're starting off the year by taking you to this great cupcake place in Quezon City named The Vanilla Cupcake Bakery.

I love cupcakes, they are bite size goodies for those who would love to try different kinds of cake in one sitting and The Vanilla Cupcake Bakery offers more than just pretty cupcakes.

Last December, I decided to bring my family along to Trinoma Mall in Quezon City to try what they have to offer for dinner. I was surprised that they actually serve not just cupcakes but also some delicious meals to enjoy for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. This menu will greet you at the entrance of their place, they offer salads, pasta, sandwiches, and all day breakfast rice meals.

Their interior reminds me of those little playhouses that little girls loves to play around, it's like you're in an Alice in Wonderland tea party with all their whimsical decors, chairs, and tables. A large display case shows you all the cupcakes waiting for you to enjoy.

We decided to order a few of their pasta offerings as we're all pasta lovers. I got their Pesto Pasta (295), while my mom & brother got Baked Cheesy Macaroni (295) and Meatballs Spaghetti (295). We paired our foods with Hot Tea (75/teapot) and Strawberry Iced Tea (75/glass). The servings are quite generous and just right for a quick dinner.

I really love how their tables and chairs looks like, you'll really feel like you're enjoying a meal in a doll house. The plates, glasses, and utensils are all colorful adding that playful touch to your normal dining experience. Just check out our table!

We can't forget to try their cupcakes! We got their Banana Nutella (75/each), the sweetness is just right which I definitely look for cupcakes and it is so moist, perfect with my cup of hot tea.

I went back to Vanilla Cupcake Bakery after a few days to buy a few more cupcakes for our New Year's Eve Celebration at home. I bought a total of 12 cupcakes and special Red Velvet Cheese Cake to put on top of the tier. Prices of their cupcakes ranges from 75 to 120 pesos depending on their flavor.

The Vanilla Cupcake Bakery has a few branches all over the metro for you to visit, here the list of their branches: Alabang Town Center, Trinoma, Glorietta 4, UP Town Center, and Bonifacio Global City. You can get the latest news about Vanilla Cupcake Bakery by liking the Official Vanilla Cupcake Bakery Facebook page.

That's it for our first sweet post of 2014, watch out for more posts! Happy New Year!

  1. They also recently opened a branch at BGC, at Two Parkade beside Naci if I'm not mistaken. :)
